wHAT ARE AURAS???

i'VE SEEN DIFFERENT STORIES ABOUT THIS BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY OR IT REALLY MEAN?

Simple answer: Its the interaction of an electrical field ( in most cases static electricity) with the air around it to create a faint colored light. Everything has one. If you've ever seen a plasma globe, it sort of works the same way, but with a electromagnetic field and it is designed so that you can see the light. In people, some believe it can indicate your mood, or health, or other things about a person.

all objects give off electromagnetic fields. normally these fields are so small and weak that it's moot to worry about them. the people who believe in auras say these fields are beings sensed by some psychics (even though many modern devices have difficulties measuring some of these small fields) and that even FURTHER these fields represent the emotions, futures, past, and traits about people. there is even a type of photography devoted to measuring these fields (this photography actually only measures the water vapor content in the air around a person thats IT)
when electromagnetic theory was first being explored someone discovered that electrocuting a frog made it twitch. those who didn't understand (and no other explination was presented) proposed the theory of animal electricity this was further expanded by lay people to say that of COURSE these fields where around people (same explinations where presented with the theories of magnetics, with 'vapors' from people etc etc etc)
simply put. no evidence for these. no proof for these. nothing shown that present anything thats actulaly has anything resembling reality. and for the lady below who says she is telekenetic (moves things with her mind another unproven act) go contact randi and the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry. prove it and you get a million dollars. so far this prize has been unclaimed in more then 15 years and the prize money is going up and up every year. hmmm wonder why it's never been claimed? oh yah cus supernatural powers don't exist. thats why it's not part of science.

all those who believe in telekenises raise my hand.

shoudl we be exploring these theories in super natural crazyness? of course! if we find ANYTHING we don't udnerstand then we have evidence of something we don't know and then we can explore learn and advance our knowledge. keeping an open mind is important, just don't let your brain fall out by keeping it so open that any idea at all without anything reseambling reality allowed to be believed.

they are real . at least in so much as people do see or sense them
doctors have known for some time that people who have epilepsy are known to see aura's just before a seizure takes place. this could be as a result of change in pupil size or other abnormal brain activity.
i find it more interesting that they now have dogs that are seizure dogs and they can alert a person that a seizure is coming in advance long enough in advance that the person can sit or lie down take some precautions so they don't become harmed as a result of say holding a kettle of hot water.
that is interesting . does the dog see this aura sooner or does he smell something or hear something i don't know nor does anyone really but they do know enough to make use of the dogs to help the people .

Well, I believe they are real. They are an electromagnetic field around your body that can be read as color. Different colors have different means, like someone with a really blue aura will be intelligent and logical, unless it's too dark, then they're suspicious, and pink people are loving, finanacially successful people who can be stubborn.

Auras are like alot of stuff in this catagory: it depends on your beliefs. If you believe they are true, then they are, and if you don't believe in them, then they won't affect you.

Tidbit: you can, if you really believe in what you're doing, immagine someone surrounded in a color and help them. Like surround a grumpy person in pink will make them calm down, or a sick person in orange and green.

Don't listen to other people first off. Okay auras are basically energy fields around the body in the form of heat, light,etc. They can determine your health, spirituality, mood,etc. Thats pretty much it I think

Auras are the simple way of reflecting our emotions in the form of usually a colored halo of light around the Head and shoulders that usually only psychics, telopaths, telekinetics (like me:)) ghosts, ghost whisperers, and angels can truly see (many psychos believe they can see these auras.) the simple form of an aura, that mortals can see, can be seen as: ANGRY: close to the head and/or looks spiky. HAPPY: flared out. gives you a sense of dreamy comfort op oun seeing

if u ask me, these "simple forms of auras are TOTALLY BORING. if u want to see an aura, try developing one of the abilities above:)
