I would only keep about 1 or 2 turtles. Box turtles can be agressive toward eachother in the breeding season if you have two males, and its hard to tell when they are young. I would suggest only keeping one of them, but how the box turtles respond to one onother depends on what kind of box turtle they are, so just to be safe, i would start with one or two babies.

Of course, I'd have to keep one. They are so darned cute, and it's so wonderful to raise one that you hatched at home. But, there's usually plenty of pet stores willing to buy baby turtles, so the other five can go to loving new homes where they will be unique and special.

you could keep as many as you have room for so keep them all if you have room. my friend has turtles and they had babies and she kept them all.
