Fever is a main symptom of the flu:

What is the Flu?
The flu is something that we get only a few times in a lifetime. It is not an illness that affects the gastro intestinal tract, and does not cause stomach upset or nausea.
The so called stomach flu is not caused by influenza!
The influenza virus is characterized by the following symptoms:
sudden high fever (38° to 40° C)
headache
loss of appetite
severe muscle aches and pain
extreme fatigue and weakness
chills
dry cough
sweating
and sometimes: sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion and sneezing.
Symptoms usually come on quickly and can last for 7 to 10 days. Many other viruses can cause the same symptoms as the flu; only a lab test can verify the actual presence of the influenza virus.5

Flu's can be accompanies by fever, as well as sinus infections. Your doctor will be able to tell if it is the flu or something else. You may want to go in case it is not the flu and you need medicine like antibiotics.

In a true panic attack, your heartbeat races, you cant catch your breath and your eyes have trouble focusing. During these attacks, you really think your dying of a stroke or a heart attack. I know this because I went through it several years ago. I was put on Inderal and haven't had an attack since. As far as the fever you're having, this has nothing to do with panic attacks. You have a viral or bacterial infection somewhere
