I love this show and am extremely addicted. I could not believe that Sam was asked to pack his knives and leave. Do you feel that the judges were correct in their decision or made a mistake?

Big mistake. He made great food last night as well as throughout the competition. His was the guest judge's favorite dish. He seemed a shoo-in to win the whole thing - he's a classy, personable chef, with talent. Makes next week's episode almost pointless to watch as it just seems wrong as Sam is clearly a better chef than Marcel.

Final someone asks this question!!! I think it was wrong for them to send him home. He is a great chef and I thought he would win. At least he won the fan favorite and got 10,000. My boyfriend and I watch the show every week but now that Sam is gone I do not even want to watch the last episode. I think the 2 that are going on are not TOP Chef material. Thumbs down for the judges on this call!

Yeah they did. They really could not decide who was the second finalist between Ilan and Sam. It was easy for them to eliminate Ilan. If this was best out of 4 Marcel would have won. They need to grow as chef's and quit repeating the same things. They need to expand their horizons.

I think the finale should be between Sam and Ilan, but I found out who wins so it's okay. But yes, totally shocked that Sam went home. In my opinion, he was the best cook in the competition.

Absolutely!!! They made a HUGE mistake. The judges know that Marcel is a pain in everyone's side. They've admitted so in their blogs, yet they keep him around. I just do not understand it. They see the shows that air, they see how he antagonizes most all of them. They also know that Elia has always been in his corner, so when she spoke up, that should have been a red flag that it had gone too far.

I thought for sure the judges wanted Sam to win...
Marcel is a pain in the butt... and is cooking is all over the place... he needs a few more years under his belt....

I was totally shocked! I thought he would definately win it all. I was very disappointed. I really hope Ilan wins now, because I can't stand Marcel.

mistake,,,mistake,,,,mistake. Sam is the coolest. you know he has street kind of food in NY. Plus, he has the best hair. maybe that ugly chick judge, padma lakshmi, should have asked salman rushdie how he felt about the whole thing....what does she know about food anyway??? wait, i think i'll ask that question.....

Whoa.........I missed last night's episode and this is a total shock. Oh my Gawd, I thought Sam was the best one on there and thought for sure he would win. Oh my Gawd!
