Does anyone know the largest auto accident (# of vehicles) in US history?

I saw 35 car pileup in Erie, PA today in the news, where I am originally from due to the snow.

See the movie "The Blues Brothers"..That has the biggest pileup.

Seriously there have been real pileups of over 100 cars.

probably seattle / tacoma in 1968.

50 car pileup by the airport.
a number of people were killled
