Amazingly madam! That is not the problem here.
If you were to -
A. Either to remove the mirrors from the tops of your shoes.
or
B. Wear some underwear.
.....There would be no hole ;)

The size of a quarter. No, keep wearing those same shoes. Spring is around the corner, and the ventilation will be lovely.

If it's really large, then get some new ones. For good but cheap shoes, try Payless or Fayva.

I have 2 three inch holes in mine.
I hate it when snow gets inside and I have to hobble on an ice lump.
