I entirely agree. They should have a separate category for each.

(The definition of synonymous is 'meaning the same', though, and I don't think their grouping implies this).

As far as I can see all the items in this category are about divorce in any event, so maybe they don't need a marriage category!!

i suppose because if you seperated every category then it would take two or three pages for all the listings.
like: family could be divided into mothers, dads, brothers sisters, aunts, etc. etc.---see what i mean?
but in this category you can ask questions about either or both or some questions i have seen have nothing to do with either.
have a good day.

yeah, I think they should have different categories. Like Marriage, Divorce and Separation, Kids & Parenting, Step Families, Intimacy.....

no they are not synonymous, but they relate to one another because in order to get a divorce, you must first have been married. questions asked her should relate to either marriage or divorce. it's probably easier for yahoo to lump them together then have a bunch of separate categories.

You can - they just figured you could not get a divorce unless you were married. It's just a category - just like "Singles & Dating" is not synonumus.

It is called this simply for the reason that is what the section is called. People know what is talked about and enter this category for that reason.Gosh!

But you can't have the divorce without being married first. So they go together.

You can talk about Marriage or Divorce here. What is so hard about that?

It's because people get married everyday, and people
get divorced everyday.
