in the night elf place where u first start with a free trial ,where do u buy a skinning knif?

You can buy a skinning knife from any tradeskill vendor. There is one on the second floor of the big tree across from the inn.

Ask a guard for directions to the Skinning trainer. There will be a salesman right next to him.
