1.# Boom (sailing), spar at the foot of a sail on a sail boat.
# Boom (windsurfing), a wishbone shaped piece of windsurfing equipment.
# A floating barrier, usually a chain supported by interspersed buoyant elements, for blocking a waterway, such as a narrow harbour entrance or a river
2.In nautical terms, a brig is a vessel with two square-rigged masts.
3.A bunk is a bed or other place for sleeping, particularly a narrow bed built like a shelf into or against a wall, as in a ship's cabin, or several like beds stacked over one another known as a bunkbed.
4.The common defenition for Capsized refers to when a boat is tipped over until inverted. The act of reversing a capsized boat is called righting.
In sailboat racing, a capsized boat has certain special rights because it obviously can't manouver. A boat is deemed capsized when the mast is touching the water, rather than when it has fully turned turtle. Good racers can often recover from a capsize with minimal loss of time.
5.Deck (ship), a floor or level of a ship
6.The term galley can refer to any ship propelled primarily by man-power, using oars. Oars are known from at least the time of the Egyptian Old Kingdom. Most galleys also used masts and sails as a secondary means of propulsion.
7. Mast (sailing), a pole which holds a sail on sailing ships and boats
8.Mutiny is the act of conspiring to disobey an order that a group of similarly-situated individuals (typically members of the military; or the crew of any ship, even if they are civilians) is legally obliged to obey. The term is commonly used for a rebellion among members of the military against their superior officer(s), turning the strongest arm of the law into a danger for the legal order.
