I would like to purchase a laptop, I was told that toshiba makes a durable laptop. A friend is in the army and says alot of the guys take a toshiba laptop to afganistan with them. This is the type of use it would have if I buy one. Any info on good, durable laptaops under say $2000 would be great. Thanks

I've seen those. I believe you're looking for "ruggedized" laptops. Try doing a search on that.

Toshiba makes semi-rough laptops. If you want tough notebooks look at panasonic's Toughbook series (probably the toughest laptops in the would) and Twinhead laptops. Both make really tough durable laptops that can take a beating for years.

rough drop and though spill you can even leave it out on the rain if
