Unless you're doing some heavy downloading, you probably won't notice a difference at all. Just because you're on the internet doesn't mean that your modem is transmitting back and forth 100% of the time. Think about when you clicked on this page. You probably spend at least 10-20 times longer reading this page than you did downloading it. Once a page is downloaded, the modem is done. If another computer downloads a page in between your downloaded pages, you will NEVER notice the difference. In practical terms, for normal surfing with a broadband connection you can probably hook up 5-10 computers without noticing a difference. I know, I've had company over with more than 10 computers, never noticed any lag. Happy surfing!

well it depends. both computers wired can still be just as fast as one. but throwing in the wireless there can throw in some obstacles as well. wireless should be fast, but there are always interferences. as long as you get the latest and greatest router, you should not notice a big difference. it also depends on your computers too. good luck!

it will be a tad slower, but not much. you have to figure in freq. interferences. basically like a cordless phone. when you hook it up do a speed test with the wireless and compare it to a direct connection test..
