Slikk, I'm using Windows XP Home Edition. This PC is for my personal use and I am using at home. I tried to speed up my start up with a freebee disc but I obviously did something wrong and I can only log on as a guest. Ta

while your in the thing go to the control panel then click on user accounts then again and click create user

You probably can't uninstall when logged on as guest.

Find the name of the application that was installed from the free disk and do a search for the company that made it. They may have a support website where you can ask what to do next.

Try starting in safe mode if available. run the help application.if that doesnt work,do a search for the freebee and delete it, it may be the problem.

To speedup your logon change the number of programs that start when you boot up your computer. The more "background" programs you have the slower the computer runs.
