i have heard so many different reasons and i want to know what you think.

wtf? every guy i know wears boxers under and some say so it doesnt just float there and some say for support. im not the fruit cake you are mr.!!!

OK, here's the reason:
Men's swimming suits tend to be made of a thin material that is VERY clingy and suctions to the body when wet. An extra layer of cotton boxers creates a barrier between our this-and-thats and the outside world. Think of it like wearing a bra under a thin shirt so that your nipples aren't pointing at the world.
Otherwise, they're just wearing normal shorts and just leave on the boxers out of laziness or general comfort.

Just in case. If a guy is wearing some swimming trunks, it is more likely that they will fall of then if a girl wears a tight bikini. Therefore, wearing some kind of underpants is a most to keep from exposing oneself.

I have never heard of anyone wearing boxers under their bathingsuits. Men's bathingsuits have a liner that would prevent one from wearing boxers.
Perhaps, these guys are wearing shorts and calling them bathingsuits.

im a woman so i cant answer yet I even have constantly concept a similar concern as quickly as I see adult males do this, i assume because of the fact their trunks holiday somewhat low nevertheless... yet i think of its sort of stupid yet a large style of fellows do it i assume.

i do under boardshorts because there is nothing except your penis and material.......so i wear boxers so that i will not get hard and so that i don't have to worry about people trying to peak and see what i am working with... alot...but under a jammer i do not cause your not suppose to.....
