Like one time I put on Dance,Dance by Fall out boy and he started to get active, and another time I put on Justin timberlake Sexy back and he got active again, its like hes dancing, he does this everytime I put on music. He likes watching tv for some unknown reason, I guess the way the people on tv move, is this normal?

Ditto bzz ..... it's less likely that he likes the beat and more likely he's trying to excape the sound and pressure it causes for him. Try to keep the music down a bit and make sure his tank / bowl isn't near a speaker. That will help. Best of luck! :)

They don't have the brain capacity to have a concept of music, or tv. What your fish is doing is reacting to the vibrations he feels in his water--which is usually not a good thing. The only time water vibrates like the way your music makes it is when something bad (like an earthquake or some terrorizing fish slashes it way through the place). He isn't really watching tv either, just following the bright light the tv gives off.

I would say that, as far as the music, this may be a sort of "freaking out" from the stress the vibrations of the music causes. I would take a close look at him when you have music on and see if he appears freaked out or if he really seems calm and happy. Watching tv is different though. That shouldn't be stressful, unless it's really loud. Then again, that could be the cause. If it's not loud, it's probably the light and color he likes.
