Only 0.3% of the area of South Korea is water. There are no lakes, and only a few rivers: Nakdong, Han, Geum, Imjin, Bukhan, and Somjin. South Korea does border three bodies of water: the Yellow Sea to the west, the South China Sea to the south, and to the Sea of Japan (or East Sea) to the east.

To the west, is the Yellow Sea, to the south is the South China Sea, and to the east is the Sea of Japan(East Sea). there are also about 3rivers
