I looked under my car and there was nothing on the ground so I don't think it is a very serious leak.

Sorry, I didn't realize that there was more than one thing that had rear cylinders. It's my brakes. :)

Well i dont know what you are leaking but depending on what you are leaking and what kind of car it is i have known people to never fix the leaks. But as a mechanic i would say fix it asap because leaks can only get worse over time.

What rear cylinders? Motor or brakes? I'll assume you mean brake cylinders. If you like stopping, you'd better fix them fast.

GET THEM FIXED! Brakes are just about the most important thing to keep up and not that expensive either...If you don't trust the mechanic who told you this, go to another and get a second opinion.

yes fix then soon. they could end up leaking all their fluid out of your brake resivoir and not have any braking power which would not be good

yes it is imperative you get your wheel cyls. replaced or rebuilt asap as you will leak all of the brake fluid out and loose control of your back brakes and that is not a fun situation, so please have them replaced or rebuilt
