Last Christmas, my parents gave me a 2 GB iPod Nano and now I'm ... (drumroll, please) Out Of Space. I heard around school that it's possible to take your iPod to an Apple store and sort of "trade it in" for a new one and pay the difference (or something). Is this true? If it is, around how much would it cost for me to get a 4 GB Nano? I don't really want to sell it online.

If it helps, my iPod is in good condition/barely scratched (mostly on the back).

The 4GB Nano costs $200 new (and only comes in blue, green, or dark pink), so anywhere from $0 to $200 (and no, I don't expect they'll let you swap it for free, though they probably do offer an exchange service like they do for their computers). Anyways, if you filled it up that quickly, I'd suggest going for at least the 8GB black Nano, if not the 30GB Video, just so you can avoid running out of space again in the next couple years.

Also, you don't need to have everything loaded into your Nano at the same time. 2GB is enough capacity to play for about 36 hours, which should give you more than enough time to swap songs out once a day. If you like listening to songs in specific orders, make playlists of your absolute favorite stuff (keep those loaded all the time), stuff you like to listen to regularly (swap these on/off if necessary), and stuff you rarely listen to (leave these in iTunes unless you're really feeling a need to listen to them). You can even accomplish this by using the built-in rating system or the Smart Playlist feature.

Alternately, if you like to listen to stuff in a more random order, use the Party Shuffle playlist function to have iTunes generate random playlists for you. Resync nightly with a new Party Shuffle, and that's all there is to it.
