I would like to know what college degrees you need to become a vet?

You first need an undergraduate program (you need to fulfill the same basic prevet requirements that premed people have to: biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics). Depending on the school there may be additional requirements (animal nutrition, public speaking, statistics, calculus, immunology). You also have to take the GRE (usually during your junior year of undergrad). Then you apply to vet school. This is a 4 year program. After graduating vet school and passing your licensings exams you are able to practice on animals. However there are many interships and residencies available if you want to further your education.
