I heard pregnant women have crazy dreams, but it never really happened to me until I had this one. I am 31 weeks and I had a dream the other night that my baby was bulging out in the front of my stomach like he was trying to get out. I could see the bulge of his face very distinctly (the lips, forehead, nose, chin, everything—he even opened and closed his mouth). Then he stuck his hands out and I could see the bulge of his hands very distinctly (I saw every little finger and his palms and everything). I started playing with his hands. I put my finger in the palms of his hands and he grabbed on to them. Then he stuck out his foot and I saw the bulge on my stomach. Then slowly more of his leg began to bulge out until his whole leg showed and stuck out in a bulge through my stomach and he started kicking his leg up. I got scared at this point and asked the people around me if it was normal and I told them, “I think I’m going into labor.” Then I woke up.

The dream felt so real that when I woke up I had to touch my belly.
I think I had this dream partly because of my desire to finally see and hold my baby, and also because of my anxiety about the soon to come labor day.

I had a dream really similar to yours. In my dream I was having my friend touch my stomach to feel the baby kick, and then the baby pushed his head up against my stomach, and I could see his whole face (nose, lips, etc.) and then his feet and hands did the same thing. So I went in my room and preformed a c-section on myself (yeah, I know, weird!) and took the baby out so I could show him off to everyone. When I was done I put him back in. It was a really weird dream!

LMAO! I love all the stories. I had the bulging out dream, the having a puppy dream, and I also had a dream I had a girl with teeth and all even though I knew I was having a boy. Great question, I'm laughing like crazy

i had a weird on w/ my first. i had a fight w/ some guy. and i flipped him off. in my dream i was wearing a skirt; and when i gave him the bird Mini Me's hand (from the austin powers movie) came out ring and all giving the guy the middle finger too. i looked down and saw that and cheered on the little guy. now if that isn't weird i don't know what is. If this is your first baby it's normal to have worries about labor. I'm pregnant w/ # 5 and i'm still worried. so just relax and take it as easy as you can! good luck!

I had two recurring dreams while I was pregnant.
One - in my dream I had a baby boy named Abner and everyone at school would make fun of him. He was always in an old fashioned desk row after row.
Second - I kept dreaming that I gave birth to a full sized cat, which was all gooey etc. In my dream, I was crying and very concerned about what the people at work were going to think. In my dream I would cry, "I didn't want a kitty-cat, I wanted a baaaby."
Stupid, I know.

When I was pregnant for my DD I kept dreaming that I put her in the Oven to protect her from a house fire!!! LOL, no I did not and she is now 14.
With DS I kept dreaming he got hit by a car, sadly enough I still have this dream every now and then...

i've had some wierd dreams, but i think the wierdest definitely was with my first. i dreamed that after the baby was born,we left her outside with the cats for nannies. we didn't bring her inside or name her until she was six months old! i was so scared that meant i was going to be a horrible, neglectful mother. but now she's five, and we never left her with the cats, and we named her before she was even born. thank goodness : D

I dreamed my baby was born about 1" high and I kept loosing him, and it was very hard to care for him and diaper him because he was so little.
Pretty obvious meaning that I wasn't sure I was ready for this.
That was with my first - I'm a veteran now, and I never once lost a baby.

Ah, the famous pregnancy dreams!! They're SO insane, aren't they?! Like so vivid and real! Freaky...
I had some trippy dreams, but one in particular: I used to dream that my belly was clear glass and I could look in and see my baby...she'd wave at me, I'd wave at her...sometimes she'd be doing silly things, like once she was painting a picture, etc. And it all seemed very normal to me in my dream! =P
I had more dreams, but that's a favorite that kept recurring. =P

Well i have had quite a few, one was when they were finding out the sex they took the baby out looked and let me hold him then put him back in and it worked like a zipper. it was weird.........
My other weird one i dreamt that my M In L and sister in laws wanted to come see the baby( right after we got home and my hubby was at work) And i told them to wait until the next day when we had planned to come visit all of them as i didnt feel up to having visitors and just wanted the day to adjust.
*well they showed up at my house 5 minutes later KIDNAPPED my baby. Then my hubby went to their house (he is a state patrol officer) and arrested his mother and 3 sisters on kidnapping charges.
