Oh.
When I first saw your question, I assumed you were a believer.
Here's what I think: There's no such thing in the "woo-woo" (magic) sense.
However, if you're generally kind, there will be people who will notice and be kind to you when you need it.
If you're a horrible person, you will make a lot of enemies, some of which will take great pleasure in scr*w*ing you over whenever they get the chance.
But Karma, the way it's generally understood?
Nah.
In closing, I'd like to share a quote I recently saw, attributed to Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer's "daddy"):
Always be yourself ... unless you really suck.

I know this lady who cheated on her husband for over 5 years. After they divorced, non of the relationships she was in worked out. She became a bitter person who men got involved with just to have a 'good time'.
I am a Buddhist & believe in karma. But what i know is that some karma comes back in this life it's self. Some in other lives. And certain karma comes around in every birth until you reach enlightenment ( for instance killing your parents is believed to be a recurring karma). But some actions (insignificant good or bad deeds) won't have a resulting karmic action.
hope this helps

I don't think that Karma is a magical thing or something that is directed by a higher power, but I do believe in it.
For instance, if you are a cruel person and you treat others badly, this has no choice but to come back on you. A cruel and mean person is undoubtedly more highly stressed, depressed, negative, and sadder than other people- therefore, their body takes a beating from it. When you are a stressed person, especially, it damages your heart and inevitably are just slowly killing yourself. Yes, everyone dies someday, and sometimes bad things happen to good people. I don't understand that whatsoever, but think about it. Cruel people are really just hurting themselves in the long run. What goes around, comes around.

well i never believed it either
I always thought it was a weird coincedence.
Until my first reall long term relationship.
We were fine at first and he was a really good guy i knew him since we were in pampers he wouldnt lie he loved to be blunt even if it hurt!
I cheated and he never found out, but my mom did and she said Karma will getcha and i laughed ..hard!
I knew he wasnt the type to cheat,it just wasnt in him. I was sure.
And sure enough...he cheated ..bad! right after i broke off the other relationship.
I never thought he could ever do that
Ive seen him in other relationships and he never did before he never found out about me
i know because he heard years later from someone else and flipped on me.
we are friends now but trust me...karma is soo real
I have more stories than just that one.
often i believe it makes the craziest things youd never think would happen..happen.

All the major religions believe that whatever you give out, you get back three times, good or bad.
I think it has some merit.
I was afraid of black people, (My upbringing). Now some of my best friends are black, including my husband.
This guy I knew was real racist, the only seat on the bus going 350 miles... ha ha, next to our West Indian friend. Beautiful.
Irony, i love irony.
You only have to observe life to see it. Sit a cafe where you can see life. You will see karma come to life, right in front of your eyes.

This may not be a great example but hey!! I am a firm believer in KARMA! So i am one of those people that if i see you drop money i will pick it up and give it to you! Well one day i was at work ( i worked in a gas station ) and a really small old lady walked in! She was one of those customers that came in every day! Well she came in tho make a money order of about $300! She had a lot of cash on her that day! Well as she was walking out she dropped the money order! I ran up and gave it to her! Not thinking anything of it i went back to work and finished my shift and went home! When i came in the next day she was there waiting for me!! I walked up to her and said hello! She handed me a $5 scratch off and smiled! I walked into work and stuck the ticket in my pocket! I forgot about it for a few days! Well a week later i was at the laundry mat and i found the ticket in my pocket! I scratched it off and i had won $500 on a $10 scratch off!

Karma is not what goes around comes around that is a watered down western view.....
It means that if you do an impure action, an experience will come to you, in order to show you the flaw of your action,,,,,,,,
This is ussually a painful experience,,,,,,
Say you are cheated on by a mate, and you are angry and blame and curse them,,,, ten years later you are in a relationship and a person comes along that you have incredible lust for, so much you are shocked, at your own emotions,,,,,, this experience teaches you to be more loving and forgiving of other..... get it?

I dated a guy that I knew I didn't like, but I knew that he was in love with me so I could get whatever I wanted out of him, I did this until I grew tired of him and then I dumped him ( I Know I use to be horrible) anyway some months later I met and fell hard for a guy who did the exact same thing to me.... I found myself pleading with him the same way my ex would plead would me and I knew then that everything had come back on me

Example of Kharma.
Man leaves his wife of 7 years for lady he's been having an affair with for 2 years. He asks for a divorce from wife and makes wedding plans with lover. He goes to the doctor and finds he has colon cancer and one month to live. I say that's kharma.
