I wouldn't call it luck, more like an accident. I bought a female a few years ago. A week after I bought her home, she began acting weird. Biting if I put my hands inthe cage & hiding in her show box. Well, she delivered one little pup. Very cute & pink. but she wouldn't nurse it. I attempted to bottle feed the baby, but he didn't make it more than a week.

I received a call from the same pet store about a month later. They had a female come in & she gave birth in the store. She was nursing him, but rarely. I asked them to keep the little one with her as long as possible. After three weeks, I picked him up and continued the feeding. I had him for years.

I do know, that if you attempt breeding the female shouldn't be more than 1.5 years old (for her first litter). This is due to her hips fusing & she could die in labor.

nope. We have had two pairs at the zoo I work at for a couple years. Never even saw any mating. I wonder how the babies would look and how small they would be....it would be neat.

Yes- But the trick is to tie all four legs together before you dip them in the flour, eggs and breadcrumbs as they will try and escape. - Oh, I'm sorry, you meant BREEDING...No.
