You might think that your pension is sound, but a lot could change between now and when you retire.

I think we've all been ripped off, big time. Someone, somewhere is getting very rich off our pension funds.

I'm fine. I have a final salary pension with my current company which begins to pay out when I'm 60. I also have a privately held pension which will pay out when I'm 52 until I'm 60 so I'll be retiring nice and early. Overall I'll see a pension of around £25k per annum which when you consider I'll have no mortgage means I'll be one of the "silver surfers" who go on cruises and live in Portugal for the winter...

So far mine is OK. Very measly but still sound. I wont be retiring in luxury. But with the retirement age going up I may never get round to retiring! But then I dont have to pay into it, the company do, so if it goes ti** up I havent lost anything.
