Our best employee is leaving. She is young, smart, good looking, reasonable, trustworthy and humane. Her supervisor is old, male, not very smart, selfish, immature and vicious. She is not interested in him.
We are very sad! What are your thoughts.

I think if the guy is vicious and immature he needs to be the one leaving. Someone needs to bring this up to your HR Director- if she's leaving because of him, someone needs to say something.

At work we have to meet people that we don't like.It is part of the definition of the job.
