What is it about India that is so lovely? Let's just ignore the unhappy thoughts for now and concentrate on what is and has been good about India for millenia.... please....because I am homesick for India.

Vada Pav, Pani puri, stalls on every nook and corner of the road, autorickshaws, cows on the road, bollywood, rajnikant, laloo prasad yadav, satyameva jayate, beautiful peacocks, smell of the soil when it rains, republic day parade, early morning suprabhatams.......I love my country!

I am a Canadian who went to India for the first time 5 years ago. The first day we were there, we were in Pahar Ganj in New Delhi. I fell in love with it the first day! I just loved the crowds, the energy, everything! What I love most about India is the colours, it is so colourful. Everything from the cities to the movies to religion, it's all about fun and colour and noise and music. I just love it.
And I love Shiney Ahuja and Hrithik Roshan, why can't North American men be so hot?

India is wonderful because of the people there, yes it has it's problems just like other place but.. the people are nice, welcoming, inviting. There's a community of family and friends over there waiting for you, and the food and stories they share are incredible.
The people over here are the opposite, hateful, out for themselves, racist and judgemental and do not help others.

the diversity of food and culture and yet in some strange way there is a thread of unity among us indians.every direction of this beautiful country has a unique art form,a dance,a food, a god, a tradition,a belief and a unique way to express love and family teis.thats why we love india.

India's a state of mind. You can be in it forever. perhaps you can be it. Theres no unhappy or happy thoughts to it. it is just it. India is a collective manifestation of zillions of desires, mating maniacally in the corner of obscurity, forever coming in crests and troughs, building ecstacies and agonies trying to complete the cycle of eternity, existing emphatically in each other dreams, in forms of zillions of colors... zillions of desires......
