There is no reason why people shouldn't be buried in the nude. We were born that way, why shouldn't we go out that way?
A dead body is an inatimate object. It is nothing more than a collection of dead cells. It has no ability to feel human pride or shame.
When I'm laying there in the coffin, my penis will be nothing more than a collection of dead cells. It won't make a bit of difference to me whether it is covered up or not. So, why waste human resources like clothing on someone who is no longer living when there are too many who are alive who could use it.

We wear clothes because of human vanity. But, a dead body can't feel vanity.
A penis is an appendage that serves the user while he is alive. But, once that heart stops beating, it's really just nothing more than a collection of dead cells. You don't hide a person's nose after death.
A dead man's penis is the same thing. It's just a dead appendage.
Simarily, there is no difference between a dead woman's vagina and her nostrils. There are both nothing more than slits in the body. There's no need to cover it up to protect her vanity. She doesn't have any.

Only yes if by force. Ex: If a man hits a woman with a shovel, strips her, drops her into a hole already dug out, and covers her with dirt, the women has been buried alive in the nude. Peace :)

The only reason is respect. It would a little rude for your mom or grandma or kids to have to see you nude...... I think its more for the alive than the dead.....
But you are right you can ask in your will to be buried any way you want. and come to think of it I want to be buried in my Jammies

I intend to write it into my will to be buried nude. At least I'll be comfortable! And wouldn't it make a great epitaph: "Naked I came into this world, and naked I return to the earth."
