As a friend of a fallen soldier I've seen how his mom and sister have been living without insurance for the past couple of years. Would your health care plan include them?

We already pay for health care for our troops and their families. In addition, we also pay for health care for our veterans, who were disabled as a result of their service to the country, and those career soldiers who retired from the military.
As to the families of our war dead, their spouses receive income and services up until such a time as they remarry. And their dependent children receive income and services until they reach the age of 21.

No. There is ~2 trillion dollars in wastefull spending every year. Just cut a different program and use the money for the troops instead. There is no need to raise taxes, just use the money better and for more important things than a "bridge to nowhere".

The VA has been less than funded for quite a few years now less than the Bush administration on the same time as limitless squaddies come lower back from Iraq and Afghanistan with actual and psyche complications. they're going to be greeted at domicile with adverse treatment. the numerous reason is because Bush has record budget deficits and an large nationwide debt...there is no longer $$$ for the authorities. to fund courses or improve departments budgets. base line, the authorities. has no money because tax gross sales is too low from Bush's tax cuts to billionaires.

Sure, why don't we add another tax that comes out of our paychecks. Lets say 6.5% percent or what ever it would take to fund it. Maybe that would help to pay for a national health care as well. That way you are not bilking just the"rich" and all would help the "poor"

Those no longer in service, and their dependents: CHAMPVA is the service. The VA is the place to apply for it.
Servicemen, and their dependants: Servicememmbers already get free healthcare. Wake up. Their dependants are elligible for CHAMPUS. Go see the Personel Dept. for more information and applications.

No. We don't need to give anybody ANOTHER reason to not support the troops. We need to get the government pork barrel projects and social spending plans under control. We need better accountability, not better ways for our government to be irresponsible.

No, no, no, no. We should cut spending on things like the various Robert Byrd memorial (bridge, library, etc.) and other pork that could pay for things like this though.
