Hi there! Anyone have any hints or tricks on how to remove static from laundry. I washed a twin blanket and put it in the drier to well....dry and when it came out its buzzing with static. I used a drier sheet so any help would be appreciated. I dont really want to put it on my daughters bed that way =) Thanks!

Static can be a pain, especially in the winter. I would just re-wash the blanket but be sure to use Downy or some other sort of fabric softener. Also, use two dryer sheets instead of just one and make sure you unfold them before putting them in the dryer. Put one in the dryer first add the blanket and then add the other dryer sheet on top of the blanket. I use Bounce dryer sheets and I hardly never have a problem with static. Hope this helps. Good luck!

if you need to do something now then put a damp tea towel or towel in with the clothes just 15 minutes before your clothes are dry that should stop them fom being static

Rewash it with liquid fabric softener and use bounce. I rub those on my car seats when it's really dry outside. Hope this helps you out.
