I know what "hey there delilah" means when she says that you spend a lot of time on an answer, and then the person picks the dumbest one. I guess it's a matter of preference.

I never have been choosen for a best answer :(
I just started yahoo answers..I don't mind if I get choosen as best answer or not, if I put my best thought and answer in there question I feel great anyway!
So I quess you feel really special when you are picked at best answer!

I feel satisfied. I know that I've helped somone with what they need. So what if I'm not telling them in person. At least i won't get nervous like i'm speaking to sombody right beside me . I can express my feelings freely.

well...it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside =] . I normally give decent answers, sometimes I even spend around twenty minutes on one answer, and then they choose an answer that makes no sense. Jeezzzzzzeee. Oh well, that's life.

special and loved. once my answer was choosen as best answer out of like 20 answers and it made my day. also you notice that my best answers are only like 2% so, yea, you understand.
