Say "Screw You" hah. I love Lime Wire...who cares what they say. Unless you are paranoid that you are gonna get caught.

All you can do at this point is stop downloading from the site if you feel that guilty about it. There are other legal music sites to pay for downloads.

You might also want to download and run an anti-virus/spyware program for your computer. A lot of people get infections from limewire, so it would be a good idea to check just in case.

If you haven't purchased the song, and the artist isnt normally giving the song away, then it is illegal.
If you want to do the morally acceptable thing, stop downloading, and consider getting rid of the songs that you didnt pay for. It's not like you have to turn yourself in, but if you keep doing it, you risk legal action if you're caught.

Get yourself a portable external hard drive (preferably one with a protective case) and move your songs out of your computer and into the external hard drive. Then keep that hard drive somewhere safe and hidden. It will act as a backup in case you get a virus that wipes your computer out, and if the RIAA comes knocking someday, just tell them you downloaded the songs as samples to see if you would like to buy the CD, and then you deleted the songs. They check your computer, and BAM! There's no music to be found, so you must be innocent. It's brilliant, I tell you.

yes, it is illegal...but don't worry too much about it, if you are that nervous about this put them onto an ipod/mp3 player or onto some USB drives(i realize you'll need a lot of them)....the likelihood of being caught isn't very high right now so as long as you're not selling them or anything, don't worry too much.

lol, it *is* illegal, and anyone who doesn't pay for music should be ready and willing to face the consequences. Saying "it's not illegal" doesn't change copyright law, and you WILL be fined if they decide to fine you.

confident.. it is illigal. because of the fact this is a criminal offense to distribute something with out the vendors permission, till you purchase it. purely because of the fact every person does it doesnt make it illigal.
