The boot on my dads peugeot 405 doesn't want to play ball.And i can't get in through the back seats.I cant find anything to release them. Thank you.....Liam

i work for peugeot and there are many ways to fix this but the best is to drill the lock out
listen and tell if the central locking works in the boot might need oiled
if not drill it and push the actuator to the side.

Used to have a 405 myself.The seats do not fold down,only the arm rest does,for skis.I found it a pain as well.

Is it a saloon or estate? If it's a saloon then I believe you will, as another poster has said, have a problem as it's only the centre armrest "ski hatch" that opens. Otherwise it's a trip to the garage.

if they are anything like the 406 yhey are located under the boot (hinge side).when u open the boot put youre hands under the boot lip and uyou will feel 2 levers.just pull them and hey presto!
