First of all, it you are there to be a wise-guy or insult people, good luck. If you are there to give a comprehensive answer that will fully answer the question at hand you have a choice. I usually don't pick the guys who cut and paste a huge answer and expect you to read it. I sometimes pick the first answer if its right. All in all, I try to be fair and read them all. Sometimes an answer that is near the end, that's funny, will get my nod. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, can I have best answer?? A little begging never hurt anyone as far as I am concerned.

By knowing what you are talking about. Don't just put some short answer that everybody has put. Go into more detail. Explain it thouroghly and with baby step instructions(if they need instructions) Also, you try to be honest and truthful and give lots of sources so that if they don't understand you're answer, they can just look at the sources. Don't be mean or a wise guy. They will not appreciate it. Answer the question using all your knowledge and wisdom.
Hope this helps.

Either the person who asks the question chooses your answer as the best answer or if they don't after approximately four days the answers for the question are put up for a vote and the person who gets the most votes win.
Good Luck!!!

When my answer is picked as a Best Answer, it is when I have taken time to do the research the person wanted. You don't always have to use complete sentences ... sometimes a website will suffice. You always have to be polite.

Give honest and intelligent answers everytime. Don't fake it and don't patronize the ones who are asking the question. Even when the question is obviously rude and or meant to upset; do not reply with sarcasm or hatred. Return to them with a sensible answer, give your wisdom in all honesty.
Do not expect to get pegged with "best answer" all the time. But you can expect to recieve a lot of nods your way for "best answers".

You answer truthfully and with sources. Don't just put a short sentence or common answer just to give an answer.
