The top candidates for the Republicans are Rudy Giuliani and John McCain.
Unlike what Nancy said Hillary Clinton was actually leading Giuliani and in the latest polls and was tied with McCain. Obama was behind both but is getting closer with each poll report. I have no clue where she got the idea that anyone was leading by 20 or 30 points. That's simply absurd.
EDIT:
A little update - according to an article in Yahoo News, Obama and Edwards are both ahead of John McCain in the most recent polls, and Bill Richardson is tied with McCain. Rudy Giuliani was leading all Democrats but still not by much. The polling was done by Rasmussen Reports where Republicans seem to always do better than in other polls. I think this is a very bad sign for the McCain campaign.

Well somebody needs to educate Nancy J. The problem is these two probably would not get the nomination from the republican party. If they did I think either would have an excellent chance of winning. Giulliani I believe has no chance of getting the republican nomination McCain has a better chance but still will have it tough. So your numbers (which I think are wrong anyway) are meaningless until then. I do think either one makes an excellent candidate. I really like Giulliani.

EDUCATING YAHOO IDIOTS
Do you read? Both McCain and Guiliani are 20% ahead of Hillary Clinton and 30% ahead of B. Hussein Obama--AND THAT IS IN A NATIONWIDE POLL. That means, there is no way either Clinton or Obama can win the Electoral College.
Republicans have owned the White House for 28 of the last 40 years. Now, it's going to be 36 of 48.
Republicans won this thing before it even started. Americans just don't trust Democrats to hold the top position. Carter and Clinton were just horrible. One got ***** slapped by Iran. The other got impeached for perjury and undermining our judicial system.
GET AN EDUCATION LOSER.

Well, not Rudy, because the Republican base will never support him because he is divorsed and pro-choice and pro-gay marriage. And, really there is not very many out there that are appealing. I think most Americans are sick of the Bush Republican agenda.
Hey Nancy_I, do you have proof and links for those stats? Prove it or you're just another liar.
