I would say over 600 per section, making the total 1800.

It really depends on the person. Some people are happy with a 500, others with a 600, 700, and others will strive for the perfect score: an 800. The worst score would be a 200, as you are given 200 points for writing your name and basic information. I am aiming for something in the 700's, but would really love, of course, an 800. However, I am a perfectionist, so everyone is entitled to hold themselves to a different standard.

It completely depends on the person - 500s should be good enough to get you into a college, but not a competitive one. If you're looking at top schools, 700s are good.
