Lately i've been hearing a lot about taking care of your skin and face. I always moisturize my body, but i've never taken special care of my face, because everyone says i have great skin.

If you want to use exfoliants, that's fine. They can gently (or in some cases, NOT so gently) remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and leaving behind a softer layer of skin. However, you do NOT want to exfoliate your face every day. The face on your skin and neck is very soft and delicate, and can't take the beating that the rest of your skin can take.

If you want healthy skin for a lifetime - cleanse with a gentle cleanser daily and nightly, and follow up with a moisturizer. Treat your NECK like you would your face - as your neck loses elasticity, too.. and can really show your age, even if your face is fabulous (seriously, look at some of the older actresses on soap operas... their hands and their necks are a dead giveaway of their age)

Just my 2 cents

we are like snakes and need to "shed" our skin so using an exfoliant one time per week will help our bodies do this, face and body--we have to bring the new skin up to the surface!
I am a licensed aesthetician --the best thing to do to your face is a twice per day regimen consisting of a cleanser designed for your skin type, then use a toner (witch hazel is always good if you are on a budget), and then get a good eye cream and moisturizer. Once a week you will use an exfoliant after the cleanser and it is better to do it at night as that is when our skin basically goes into repair mode.
Hope this helps!
Lot's of people say that products don't matter but I really think they do--it matters almost as much as what you put into your body.

It will be bad if you overuse them and strip your face.
You should not exfoliate more them 2-3 times a week.
Wash face with a mild cleanser for your skin type twice a day.
Follow with a toner. Always moisturize and apply a sunscreen.

It depends on what type of skin you have.
If you have oily skin, an exfoliant would work really well.
If you have normal skin, it doesn't really matter.
If you have dry skin, use a cream cleanser.
Just make sure the ingredients are natural and mild.

dont use clearasil in any respect..ive seen human beings use it and it makes their zits or zits worse. clearasil constantly dries out the exterior. considering you reside in australia i might advise going to a save called ecosway. it has the main suitable products for zits or zits. they have an entire selection and it is so good. I even have defintely seen differences in my own pores and skin. no longer purely have they have been given face washes they even have gel patches for zits or in spite of. you purely positioned it on over night and day after today the pimple may be smaller. i used to apply dove until eventually now going to ecosway. i think of they replaced a number of their factors because of the fact i stumbled on that my face grow to be turning out to be worst from it. if your going to purchase a face wash, perhaps purchase a milk based (no foam), it perhaps extra gentler with your pores and skin and then specially situations use a scrub to get the ineffective pores and skin off the face

if your skin is fine as it is - don't mess with success. you should wash make up off every night - use a light cleanser marketed for sensitive skin with natural ingredients for the least irritation.
