I'm about to turn 30. I still need to finish my degree and figure out what I want to do. I have some ideas and dreams, and I have hope and determination. Hang in there. Life is not a straight line - you'll figure it out.

Even you know.. sometimes it is not up to you.. Lots of people got laid off and then switch jobs or careers. Just do the best on whatever you can do. There is no such thing as 5 year objectives unless you are the boss.

Especially nowadays, all the outsourcing, bad economy going on, you just have to find somethimg temporarily that you like. If by any luck, you can move on. But don't put too much high hope on it.

Do what you love in life - because if you settle for just any job then you will be bored and you will think that you did make the wrong choice.

I think it is totally normal. It's not easy to follow your passion and get stability or a big salary all at the same time. So keep trying until you get comfortable in a certain position.

Most people do not know what they want to do until they are in their 40's by then they have tried many things and know what they like. That's why so many older people go back to school.

i'm 28, right about now i just have to make some money. Do what you gotta do and keep the options open. I'm sure you know what you'd like to do but it seems beyond reach.

I didn't start my present career until I was 32, so don't worry. You'll find something. My advice is to pick something you like and stick with it.
