How can i find out what is in "other" on my ipod?

As a guess (and I don't recall seeing "Other" listed on my iPod, so this really is just a guess), if you set your iPod to upload all songs and playlists, it's probably a compilation of the various songs that do not appear in any of your playlists at all. You'd be unable to access them through a regular playlist, so generating a catch-all playlist would be an option that would work, especially for people who don't have any playlists set up in iTunes.
