25% is a fourth-- of 30% i would divide 30 by 4 and get 7.50% then multiphy 450 times .075 which equals 33.75

First, what is 30% of 450?
450 X .30 (the decimal equivalent of 30%) = 135.00 = 135
Then, what is 25% or one-fourth of 135?
Either you can multiply 135 X .25 or find out what 1/4 of 135 is by dividing 135 by 4; either way, you will come out with 33.75.
So 25% of 30% of 450 = 25% of 135 = 33.75

"of" just means multiply.
