We are all born sinners and he without sin cast the first stone. We are all Gods children and should not judge unless though shall be judged by him.

I highly agree with you. I do not understand why the mainstream of Christians pursues gays as secular. In fact, the bible only states that "Man shall not lay with man" and nothing else that I know of on the subject. I believe we have all sinned, and even if a homosexual prays forgiveness he will be forgiven like the rest of men.

There is an overall assumption that because being gay is thought of as a sin, then there can be no possible way that a gay person could be religous, or spiritual in any way.

Again, this is ignorance. It is also abject interpretation and belief in the Bible as the overall authority on all things in life. My personal feeling is that if this is true, then why are there so many different interpretations of the Bible, that have been translated into so many different languages and bearing? Everytime I attend a service at my girlfriend's parent's church (Pentacostal), I am amazed at how the Bible is interpreted by taking things "Out" of context. This means taking a verse from this Gospel, and verse from that one, and making a law or rule out of it.

IMHO the Bible is a collection of stories, written by a very diverse group of people, covering a range of subjects. It is not the law, nor should it be interpreted as such. To me it is like making a religion out of the National Enquirer.

I believe that anyone should be able to embrace whatever form of religious belief, spirituality or following that they personally wish to, and that no one has the right to force them to change or interfere in that...regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, etc., etc.

Only extremely ignorant, undereducated people assume such a thing. Don't let them get to you, they have problems of their own trying to live in the real world. Ignorance will always be a problem for those who are self-righteous and hypocritical. Jesus would have invited them to sit down with him and the sinners he hung around with and proceeded to question why they are throwing stones before they removed that huge beam from their eye. Honestly, don't let fools like that get to you, they are strange and hateful people who think they somehow have a right to decide who God welcomes and who He doesn't.

Gwenneth and I were both church goers until some cowardly person started a smear campaign.
To avoid trouble for our minister, we left the church and worshiped in the open air, in parks or gardens in fine weather or at home in the winter.
I have learned to forgive the ultra righteous religious and hope that they find happiness, not the cold misery my "in laws" showed.

That is a very good and wise question. If this is a serious question ............. its because they arent actually seriously studying the bible ........ it is in everyone of them that men SHOULD NOT lay with men. Period. So even if one says he was born wanting to be a woman .... "the choice' he WOULD MAKE would be to adhere to GODs word and perfect will and NOT CHOSE to satisfy his abominitable desires. Again ........... Period. Its so simple even a fool need not err.
