the coldest day of the year, where? not here. it depends where you live. And it doesn't have to snow just because its cold. Ya, you may be bummed out, but if man could control the weather, there would be no more beatings on the weatherman.

i don't know where the first poster lives but i have seen it snow in my town at -30c

It doesn't have to be cold to snow.
Snow can only fall if it is between 0oC and -4oC.
