I'm kind of nervous about changing and showering in the communal showers after P.E., but i have 3 classes after my P.E. class, and at my high school you are required to change and shower if you have even one class after P.E. Our coach checks to make sure we do so, so there is no avoiding it. P.E. started a few days ago, and the changing/showering has not gone so well, becasue i'm embarrased. How did you deal with it?

Since your in gym class this time, I'm guessing you don't have your suit. Don't be nervous, just think, "you shower at home naked, and this is only boys my age." Next week I'm going to be going into PE and leaving swimming, I'm super nervous about it already because I won't have the option of my suit. If you just think about how natural it is to shower naked, and that you're only in front of guys your age. You could help calm those nerves. I can see how it feels scary to shower naked. You're probably thinking that they are going to see peter down there and make fun of your size or something. Don't worry about it, they're teens just like you, soon enough they'll forget about it, and it will become a thing of the past. After you do it about three times, it should start feeling more comfortable to you. If you need any other help, just E-mail me. But remember, they are all your age and they're just guys.

I sympathize. When I started changing at school in Junior High, I had developed faster than the other people of my age group. I was one of the first to have pubes and my organ was three times the size of anyone else's so whether you are small or big it can still be a problem. I got an erection in the shower and was made fun of the rest of the school year. It's just part of growing up. You'll get over it. If you are embarassed just kinda wait until most people have already showered and then go in for a quick one. That way you avoid the crowds. That's what I did and it helped a little. Good luck.

From the my days in junior high school though high school we all experienced the same thoughts of changing in locker room. Believe me once you get over it things become natural.

We were required to have PE uniform: shorts, t-shirt, gym socks, gym shoes and a supporter. We had inspection before class if you were suited up for class we had show waist band of our supporter.

We had to take showers and back in junior high school most boys were going through puberty some were more developed then others. Yes guys took some insults but don't eve let get to you be proud of you are and not someone else.

It's not going to be a problem unless you make it a problem. Just do it - take off your clothes and go take a shower - that's all. Don't worry about other guys looking at you, and don't look around at them. If you stop thinking of it like a big deal and just focus on getting clean after p.e., it will be over before you know it.

I hope we dont have to do that next year in high school i would be nervous too.. i hear a lot of guys talking about this other persons body part.. it kinda gets me nervous cause i would hate that although i am normal size.. but i do know we gotta change too but we only change out of are pants and shirts not change boxers but i got one thing u can wear like you swimming suit thats what i hear some people do and if they ask why just say its how i was brought up when we went to the pools or shower in public. U might get called swimming trunk man. but u can do that or just try it once guys shouldn't be looking if there in high school.
Well good luck.

Back in the 60's when I was in high school we a wide open dressing area a wide open communal shower and no way to get from shower to dressing area without walking in front of everyone. Stratigic placement of towels if we had an erection, just walking around naturally and not looking at other guys and hoping other guys weren't looking at you. Sometimes seniors would walk by a freshman and grab his penis and yank a few times to try to get him to get an erection. Today that would be grounds for being expelled then coach made them run laps the next day. Good luck

I found the best way for me to look at it is that no one is looking at me since I wasn't looking at anyone. Don't make eye contact. Another thing that you can do is bring a pair of swimming trunks that you can where when you shower. Then when you get out of the shower put a towel around you when you take the trunks off and then put you underwear on and no one is the wiser. Hopefully it works out better for you in the weeks to come.

Your best bet is to do what the rest of the guys are doing, whether that be go to the shower in your towel or to just strip. Also, it's important to fake confidence if you don't have it until you do. It'll come eventually. But guys are more likely to tease you if you act awkward.

that is so stupid - i hate how schools do that. i mean when are you ever going to shower in front of other ppl in adult life why do u have to start practicing in teenage years!?!?! especially when its a time where ur so sensitive about your body. its so stupid. BUt unfrotunatly u cant change it, so youre going to have to buckle up for the years ahead. It will get easier over time. best advice is dont let yourself get worked up about it. Everyone is worried about their body at your age (heck look on yahoo answers you have HEAPS of adults even asking if their penis size is normal etc).
Just shower quickly and quietly and dont let anyone know you're worried inside.
