What are some good sites for work in the United Arab Emirates?
And what are my chances of getting a job there as a translator ? I speak Arabic as a first language and understandable English. Is there a possibility for me to find a job with this ?

Your English sounds pretty good to me....have you ever thought about applying for a job in the US with the United Nations? They employ bilingual persons as guides as well as translators.

Not sure of any web sites, but yeah, there are several places that need Arabic speakers. I read where many of the translators they have now are not fluent, and much gets lost in the translations. Arabic is also such a difficult language that overall, there is only 20% of the needed workers that can speak Arabic well.

and there are many more.I doubt you will find a job as as translator speaking understandable English. There are to many people who speak Arabic, English and maybe antother language fluently. Maybe you should look for any any other job first and improve you english the meantime. Almost everybody (UAE Nationals) speak englisch anyway.

Go to Qatar and get hired as a translator with the US.

try getting a job with a construction company they are all ways looking for translators for work and /or as safety people. good luck
