How about giving a fuller report of something that you learned in class so far? this might help cut some time down on getting some of the components and researching of your report together if you've got good notes on the topic already. good Luck! =)

How about Global Warming. There are lots of scientists that support it. However, it is interesting to note that there are other scientist that do not (Google: global warming hoax). I think the contrast would be interesting and would put to question the way in which science gathers knowledge, and how reliable that knowledge is, and who sponsors the studies and conclusions.

do what ever intrests you i would look up a person who came from where you live like if you live in kentucky you could do garrett morgan who invented the stop light and gas mask
i did a project about the hubble telescope and i found a ton of info on it
their is also this dog that was the first to go up in space and her name was liaka or something like that she was sent up in a space ship from russia the dog died though.

I think cloning is the most interesting concept and there is plenty of available infor on line...good luck!!!
