I guess that you mean:

(x-2)/(x-1) + 6 / (7x-7)

Remember that 7x-7 is 7(x-1)

So, multiply and divide the first fraction by 7. You will obtain this:

7(x-2) / (7x-7) = (7x - 14)/ (7x-7)

Since you have 2 fractions with the same denominator, you can just add the numerators

7x-14 + 6 = 7x - 8

So, your result is: (7x-8)/(7x-7)

Or you can express this this way: 7x-8 = 7x-7 - 1

So: since (7x-7)/(7x-7) = 1, you will have this:

(7x- 7)/(7x-7) - 1/(7x-7) = 1 - 1/[7(x-1)]
