Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In) with the band The First Edition. Although he did not compose it, the song was his first top ten hit and IMO his best. According to Rogers, the tune was Jimi Hendrix's favorite song.

i doubt, he'd sing something like that,but some of the words sound like they would come from buried treasure,but those are not the words he is singing,however life is phony are words from buried treasure
