Andre was diagnosed with acromegaly before he even moved to Montreal, so why didn't he seek treatment later in life? By the time he lost to Hogan @ wrestlemania he weighed in at about 525lbs. and he hurt all over and still didn't get treatment.

I do not think That movie goes to Do Too good,offering the fact that the actor enjoying the Andre The giant would not seem whatever like Andre with the hair and no mutton chops!

Because back then not it wasn't totally "cured". Also by the time he had enough money to get surgery he had realized he would not add much time to his life so he just decided to live every last day of his life to the fullest.

Because his parents couldn't afford it. They spent their money on tickets to America, they still couldn't cure him. By the time they had enough money, he had been dominating in the WWF.
Big Show had it 2, but he got cured when he was 12. Still, he was huge.

Gigantism has no cure. It is a genetic defect.
However, he did get diagnosed with the disease while in Japan once.

Exactly, I mean I know why didn't he? Maybe he felt he needed to " go " but I'm not really sure.....
