people usually use their "sun sign" you are actually made up of many signs... depending on where and exactly when you were born. A horoscope is just a prediction.

You can look online if you know his sign... or if you know the where and when he was born you can do a more through investigation of his personality and look up his birth chart... see how much of it seems to fit him... it could/should give you insite... but dont swair in blood that it is 100% true.

The sun sign or birth sign is what is usually called 'the sign'

An individual also has a rising or ascendant sign

An individual also has a moon sign

The latter two signs are determined by not only the date of birth, but the year and actual time of birth and place of birth.

A horoscope is:

NOUN: 1a. The aspect of the planets and stars at a given moment, such as the moment of a person's birth, used by astrologers. b. A diagram of the signs of the zodiac based on such an aspect.

Astrologers can compile your 'chart' utilizing all the information cited above. It is a very delineated process- involves a lot of math - and is not really easy to do. One must study to learn how to develop a chart properly.

The stuff in the newspapers, etc are generalities based soley on the sun/birth sign...and are meant purely for entertainment.

Now what kind of information on 'one person' are you looking for?

If you have this person's birth date, year of birth, actual time of birth; geographical city & state of birth - yes you can get an online qquasi-chart done - you can also get a compatibility chart done...It will be short and sweet unless you' re willing to pay for it.
