Unfortunately, Andreas Katsulas and Richard Biggs have died.
Peter Jurasik has retired from acting.
Claudia Christian was in a TV series in the US called Broken News.
Jerry Doyle is now a radio talk show host.
Mira Furlan is in Lost.
Stephen Furst is now a film director.
Jeff Conaway has a drugs problem and is in and out of rehab.

Yes. I am a Babylon 5 fan myself and I have all five seasons on DVD, plus the movie In the Beginning. I've not seen any of the actors in anything else, although Mira Furlan did a couple of movies in Europe, I think. Bill Mumy was a child actor on Lost in Space and he's now a musician with his own radio station. He was also on another of my favorites Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Richard Biggs was on Days of Our Lives a long time ago. Sadly, he died of a brain aneurism two years ago. Andreas Katsulas who played G'kar was on Star Trek TNG as a Romulan or something. Mr Katsulas also passed away due to lung cancer. I think Robin Atkin Downes is now doing voice acting for audiobooks. He was Byron the telepath. Jason Carter who had the role of Marcus was on Beverly Hills 90210, I think. Any way those are some of the actors and what they're doing.
I'm surprised anyone besides me watches it and enjoys it as much as I do.

The Gathering came out on tv the last semester I was in undergraduate school, then I moved back home where they didn't have a station that was carrying the series. A year and a half later, I'm in grad school and also working as a TA for my major department... I remark to one of the professors that I liked her ST TNG mousepad, and right after she asked me if I liked ST was "Do you watch Babylon 5?". I told her I only got to watch the premiere... next day she shows up with a stack of VHS tapes. "Here's season 1. Watch them in order. Let me know when you are done and I'll bring up the ones you need to catch up on for this season".
And that's how I got hooked, and I still try and get others hooked as well. Just shows how great a series can be if you plan things out in advance so you have continuity and foreshadowing, and drawing out your plots gives you on screen time for character development (sadly lacking in episodic series). Shame that so many series now - Lost, 24, Heroes, BSG, etc. that thrive on ongoing serial arcs are doing so well now, whereas B5 was an ongoing struggle to get renewed each season, and even now many sci fi fans much less mainstream viewers have no knowledge of B5.
Did my heart good when I went to a convention a few years ago and attended a writers workshop/panel and someone asked how an author should handle their characters as far as developing them throughout a story. P.N. Elrod told him "If you want to see a great example of character development and personal change, watch Babylon 5 from beginning to end".
I still wear my B5 jacket in the fall and winter... if I get a comment on it, it's mostly asking if it's a TV channel, or a band, etc... but I've had a couple of people recognize where it's from.
PS- If you didn't know already, they are producing direct to DVD mini-episodes for B5. It's called B5: The Lost Tales. The first one will be called Voices in the Dark, and should be coming out this year (est. July 07)

the guy that played ranger one marcus was a villain in she spies a few years back around 2oo2 and o3. after B5 was canselled. the other's like the docter( actor richard biggs) died .and the guy the played garabaldi became polition. like the governator and his buddy carl weathers.
they've all gone on to other carreers. so that's why you don't see much of the other actor's and actress from that show any more. most have retired. the other half keep trying to re new b 5 series with the shows creator J. Michael Straczynski . but net works like fox keep trying to screw over his work with trying to turn it in a wrestling soap opera in space look at what happened when they forced the writers of the Andromeda Ascendant off and replaced them with poor writers that did infact do that and how it end the show and fans were dissatisfied cause of this.
They tried to do the same thing to J. Michael Straczynski's work on the spin off the Crusade. and he terminated the show cause of it.
anyways J. Michael Straczynski . works for marvel comics now. and has been doing other projects.
such as the Spiderman writer J.M. Straczynski draws parallels between the upcoming Civil War storyline and American’s current political climate.
and Stuff on his Radio project called Apocalypse Al and the end of the world.
in video.
here's the link to that. http://mutanthigh.com/smf/index.php?topic=677.0

Ivanova has been in a few things. I saw Londo in a few things too (without the hair!). The guy whon played G'Kar has sadly died recently (Feb 2006).
Aside from Doctor Who this was the best Sci-Fi ever. I am going to watch some this weekend (I have 1-4 on DVD).

Currently, Claudia Christian (Ivanova) is doing a Sci Fi/Comedy series called Starhyke. I know that Mira Furlan is on Lost, and that Jeffery Doyle is doing a radio show, but beyond that i don't know.

They probably became too famous for the small screen. Mind you they probably came cheap to begin with, I was watching Murder She Wrote which was also made earlier by the same producer, and several of them including Ivanova, G'Kar and Talia were all in it. So they went from nobodies to people other producers probably thought would be too expensive.
Great stuff, loved Peter Jurasik's hair, clothes and accent.
