question on Guiding Light?

I just got finished watching today's special episode and I have a question that I don't know where to find the answer so I'm hoping somebody here knows. Ron Raines was playing the radio announcer Hugh Downs. Is this the same Hugh Downs that used to do 20/20 with Barbara Walters?
