Ask them to be quiet, or if I could get to their parents, ask them to control their children. If they gave me a bad look, I'd get an employee and ask them to deal with it. If when you come back in with the employee and the kids are behaving (people like to act good when employees are around), be sure to thank the employee and suggest hanging around for a few minutes if they have the time.
I used to work at a movie theater (for 2 years during highschool) and I dealt with an issue like this often. It was either young kids, or teenagers. Very rarely drunk people, but those were more fun. Don't think that the employee will not be happy to help you; it's better to deal with the problem in the theater than have the rest of the movie patrons complain of the screaming children and ask for refunds or other compensation.
When this would happen, I would enter the theater as quietly as I could, to see if I could catch them in the act. If yes, then I ask them to be quiet. If not, I would hang around for a few minutes and see if the supposed noise makers were watching me. If they were, I'd wait longer. maybe taking a few steps towards them. If not, I'd leave. It was usually a welcome change of pace from what I was doing.
And if it ends up that you can't enjoy the movie and are set on a refund/readmission; please, be nice. It makes the day so much better.

i would go speak to the usher. if they don't get the job done, go to the manager, and ask for a refund that way you can go and see the movie another day. they will usually speak to the parents, and tell them if the kid does not shut up they will have to leave.

Tell the theatre management, or demand a refund. They'll usually address the problem promptly.

i think that they should not be there.. but what i would do is first ask the manager to tell the kids parents that they are interupting the viewing and that their kids need to keep quite strike two tell that same manager that you want your money back b/c they cou ld not keep their crowd in control!

Go to the latest possible showing of the film cause then there's the chance that there'll be less kids at it.

i tend to avoid films where children will fill the cinema. I would rather wait for the DVD.

I'll tell their parents to please control your kids, if they still didn't stop I would go get the usher to ask them to take their kids to the lobby until they quieted down.
