At night your whole body swells a bit, water retention and low circulation, so it makes sense that your lips will look more plump in the morning. Rings might be tighter and your eyes are puffier too. Just keep yourself hydrated and your lips moisturized - I love C.O. bigelow's lip shine with peppermint oil. Not a plumper, but a great glass ( and breath freshener too!)

the lip plumper that they make works great. completely over the counter, no appointments. but if you really don't want a lip plumper, use lip liner and shade a little bit of lip before applying gloss or lipstick and the reason why you should shade is when the gloss wears off you don't want to look like you've been sucking on exhaust pipes all day(regardless of what color you use). you can cheat with the lip liner too, and trace just outside the lips themselves just be careful to not go too far out. good luck

The thing is when you sleep, you don't move your lips at all, no talking, no drinking, no eating or even lip licking or "eating", so the balm stays on and acts...
Throughout the day, your lips are always solicited so the balm can't stay on and the little time it does is not enough for it to do anything...
So be aptient and apply and re-apply lip balm, gloss etc. every now and then... The yellow cocoa butter stick does wonders to me and can be applied with lipstick on lips too...
Good luck!

This lip gloss by Bath and Body Works is so amazing. The shine laste all day, they still look moist, and plump throughout the entire day. I use this everyday, and now during the winter my lips don't even get the least bit dry. Just swab some on in the morning and it works great! It is exspensive, but it is so worth it!

Also, for a less expensive product, try the Bath and Body Works Mentha Lip Tint, the gloss/colour does not last all day, but your lips will be moist and plump throughout the entire day.

You should stick with Burt's Bees. It always keeps my lips hydrated, & they never look thin.

I use chapstick everytime after I brush my teeth (& lips). The whole key is having really clean lips before putting it on.

you may need to change the lipstick you use. also don't lick your lips, and reapply immediately.
